Prayers – February 16, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● for promising to prosper us: For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
● for the majesty of your creation as we rise above the clouds and look out on endless seas and wonder in awe how they came to be by your word
● for safety in storms
● for being constant in our changing world
● for supplying the needs of our church
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● In all we do, help us fix our eyes on Christ (Hebrews 12:2). He alone is “the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6).
● Remind us we have the same job as Jesus, to restore relationships to God. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” 2 Corinthians 5:20
● Let us not doubt God’s power with our limited thinking, “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” Mark 9:23
● Help us to be worthy of being your treasure as we strive to be obedient. “ The Lord has declared today that you are his people, his own special treasure, just as he promised, and that you must obey all his commands.” Deuteronomy 26:18
We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those in frail or failing health
● for those in mourning
● for those whose livelihoods are uncertain
● for patience when we don’t see a solution to our troubles
● that we may be an example of mercy and compassion for those who do not know Jesus
● for wisdom for our staff and leaders as they carry out their roles in the church
● for us to wait on God’s good wishes to bring healing to our land and country, and to empower our president to turn our country back to Godly ways of life. “But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16

禱告事項
“又要以耶和華為樂，祂就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
• 主祢應許賜福我們，耶和華說：我知道我向你們所懷的意念是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念，要叫你們末後有指望。（耶利米書 29:11，新普及譯本）
• 主祢創造的偉大，當我們升上雲霄，俯瞰無邊的海洋，驚歎這一切如何因祢的話語而成就。
• 主祢在風暴中的保守與平安。
• 主祢在這個變幻莫測的世界中始終如一。
• 主祢供應教會的一切所需。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 求主提醒我們，我們的使命與耶穌相同，即恢復與上帝的關係。所以，「我們做基督的使者，就好像神藉我們勸你們一般，我們替基督求你們與神和好。」（哥林多後書 5:20）
• 求主不要讓我們因有限的思想而懷疑神的能力。耶穌對他說：「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能。」（馬可福音 9:23）
• 求主幫助我們竭力順服，好讓我們配得成為祢的珍寶：「耶和華今日照他所應許你的，也認你為他的子民，使你謹守他的一切誡命，」（申命記 26:18）
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 為身體衰弱或健康欠佳的人禱告。
• 為正在哀傷中的人禱告。
• 為生計不穩定的人禱告。
• 求神賜給我們耐心，在看不到解決之道時仍能信靠祂。
• 求主幫助我們成為憐憫與慈愛的榜樣，使不認識耶穌的人能從我們身上看見祂。
• 為教會的同工與領袖禱告，求神賜下智慧，使他們能忠心履行所託付的職責。
• 讓我們等候上帝的美好的旨意來治癒我們的土地和國家，並賦予我們的總統權力與智慧，讓我們的國家回歸虔誠的生活方式。“那召你們的既是聖潔，你們在一切所行的事上也要聖潔。因為經上記著說：「你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」”彼得前書 1:15-16
