Prayers – February 9, 2025
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4
Thank you, Lord….
● For promising strength to us who put our trust in You: But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 NLT
● for friends and family who hold us up in times of trouble
● for times of celebration and fellowship
● for the light of day which gives us fresh perspective
● for Your Word in which we can always find joy and comfort
Have your way in us, Lord, even as we fight to control each aspect of our lives, guide us to be more like Jesus….
● help us to love you more with our obedience. “Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:21
● teach us to be wise. “If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” James 3:13, 17
● help us to be kind in everything we do. “And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live…. be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. “ Ephesians4:30-32
● help us to wait for You and not try to hurry Your plans along in our timing. “Wait patiently for the Lord.

We pray for brothers and sisters not only at CCC but also outside our walls, asking that God’s good and perfect will be accomplished even though we might not understand the process or outcome….
● for those in frail or failing health
● for those facing job uncertainty
● for those suffering from lack of basic daily living needs, that they will know God’s presence
● for our community to work together for neighborhood improvements
● for our nation’s leaders take on the heart of God to accomplish their tasks
● for our children to emulate the character of Christ that we teach them

禱告事項
“又要以耶和華為樂，祂就將你心裡所求的賜給祢。” 詩篇37:4
• 為了應許那些信靠主祢的人得著新力量：“但那等候耶和華的，必重新得力。他們必如鷹展翅上騰，他們奔跑卻不困倦，行走卻不疲乏。”（以賽亞書 40:31 新譯本）
• 為在困難時刻扶持我們的朋友和家人。
• 為慶祝和團契的時光。
• 為主祢賜予我們新視角的光明。
• 為主祢的話語，讓我們常得喜樂和安慰。
主啊，儘管我們努力操縱生活的各個層面，求主幫助我們按祢的方式行事, 讓我們變得更像耶穌…
• 求主幫助我們藉著順服更加愛祢：“有了我的命令又遵守的，這人就是愛我的。愛我的必蒙我父愛他，我也要愛他，並且要向他顯現。”（約翰福音 14:21）
• 求主教導我們智慧：“你們中間誰是有智慧、有見識的呢？他就當在智慧的溫柔上顯出他的善行來。唯獨從上頭來的智慧，先是清潔，後是和平、溫良、柔順、滿有憐憫、多結善果、沒有偏見、沒有假冒；”（雅各書 3:13,17）
• 求主幫助我們在所做的一切中都行仁慈：“不要叫神的聖靈擔憂，你們原是受了他的印記，等候得贖的日子來到。一切苦毒、惱恨、憤怒、嚷鬧、毀謗，並一切的惡毒[a]，都當從你們中間除掉；並要以恩慈相待，存憐憫的心，彼此饒恕，正如神在基督裡饒恕了你們一樣。”（以弗所書4:30–32）
• 求主幫助我們耐心等候祢，而不試圖按照我們自己的節奏急促推動主的計劃： “要等候耶和華！當壯膽，堅固你的心！我再說，要等候耶和華！“（詩篇 27:14）
我們不只為教會的弟兄姐妹禱告，也為在教會以外的弟兄姐妹禱告，即使我們完全不明白上帝的旨意為何，我們仍祈求祂完善的旨意成全。
• 為那些體弱或健康狀況不佳的人禱告。
• 為那些面臨就業不確定性的人禱告。
• 為那些因缺乏基本生活所需而受苦的人禱告，願他們能感受到主祢的同在。
• 為我們的社區能夠攜手改善鄰里環境禱告。
• 為我們國家的領袖能夠承擔主祢慈愛的心，完成他們的任務禱告。
